Adaptive Technology

Technologies in the field of cultural synthesis and social costs of practice efficiency in a world of wide technology-cultural divides.

Assisting, augmenting, integrating, interpreting, enabling, reinforcing, contextualizing, accelerating, comparing, filtering, participating, sharing...

We are facing 2 main scenarios:

1 - When a human being attempts to finalize a complex action "never done before" or "not in the range of imminent interest/future skill to be acquired", beyond his physical and mental capabilities, we often face resistance and refusal, discouragement, misinterpretation, punctual attitudes to reduce the complexity and the value itself implied by the action and the overall context.

2 - When the overall contextual complexity requires the delivery of gradual steps of environmental and distributed intelligence, the interaction design project and its sociological and spacial fundamentals, can follow a logical and functional layout definable as a communal interpretation and participation of individuals and environments to the realization of the ideal human habitat.

MUSST develops music and sensorial interaction design technologies in order to assist users to accomplish complex behaviors through synthetic actions.

The recent history of music has been turning music and sound deep availability into a real synthetic disposal. This resulted in a music revolution of unlimited implications and perspectives. Music is today spoken as a language, by non-music-specialists, all over the world.

To put order in the continuous movement between technology sophistication and daily action is the deeper meaning of Design: "signs" that change the balance between memory and action, communication and function.
